“In Oceanus we are radical hopers. In everything we do we have the radical hope that we can rebuild marine life. But what does it mean to have radical hope? On one side it means to have the radical courage to not take your eyes off the devastating reality but look it straight into the eyes for one single reason to overcome it. And on the other side it means to have the knowledge that a problem can be solved.
Our radical hope does not aim our purely biological survival. This is not enough for us at Oceanus. We firmly believe that we are able together even in the course of climate change and the destruction of our oceans that with imagination we find a way that brings us to a new good life. For this everybody is important and necessary.
At Oceanus we highly recognize people with radical hope because it’s precisely them who are able in the most difficult times because of their enormous courage and knowledge to put the solutions into practice that we so necessarily need today. We at Oceanus are radical hopers. And you?”
